A little shy with its look, the 2017 La Linea Pinot Noir will surprise with its perfumed, complex nose of fresh raspberry, violet, and sweet spice. In the mouth, the wine is gracefully expressive with cherry and blueberry flavors, with elusive notes of blood orange and a delicate structure that delivers extremely polished tannins.
"This has a savory twist to the nose with earthy elements, woody notes, roses and stony minerally nuances, across bright red cherries. The palate has a neatly defined feel with very centrally focused fruit, in elegant style. Drink or hold." 93 points ~ JamesSuckling.com
"The 2017 Pinot Noir La Linea is a barrel selection made from 100% Pommard clones and free-run juice. Medium ruby-purple, it takes its time to reveal blueberries, tangerine, red and black berries layered with scents of forest floor, oolong tea leaves and violet. Medium-bodied and silky, it has very pretty floral and tea-tinged fruit character in the mouth, with a grainy frame and mouthwatering acidity, finishing long and fragrant. This deserves another year or two in bottle." 92 points ~ Robert Parker Wine Advocate
